Count Roscente is the father of Cain Roscente and Mielle Roscente who is the responsible of the history when he married with Carin Roscente and bring her daughter Aria Roscente. He loves Carin, but he didn't prevent the bulling of Mielle and it was finally his ruin.

Appearance[]

Count Roscente is very similar of Cain Roscente with blonde hair that is slicked back, brown eyes and he has a blonde moustache.

Personality[]

Count Roscente is an avaricious and egotistical person. He does not consider Aria Roscente as a real daughter, but rather planned to use her as a pawn for a political marriage. He shows a lot of favoritism for Mielle Roscente and is unable to see her true personality.

He has no sense of loyalty to his previous wife either, as he blatantly showed her grew bored of her which caused him to seek out Carin. He can be easily lead on by beautiful appearances and seems to only care if a woman can please him.

He also shows a misogynistic side. He only likes Carin for her beautiful appearance. When he is injured, he apparently thinks that Carin and Aria would be gratefully for his supposed charity. In a ironic destiny lap, his proper family thought him like a pawn without much family love, and he treated his second wife and his adoptive daughter as the same way. The results of that is that Carin had left him in a medical center when he was injured. That sounded cruel, but this was a noble center with all his necesities covered. Ironically, that was very similar, or better, to the probable mercy that the Count would give her in the case of abandone her and her daughter, or the mercyfully that his propers sons would give him after his accident.

History[]

When Count Roscente's wife died, he educated his children alone, but after knowing Carin Roscente some years, he decided to propose and marry her. In the original timeline, he considered his step-daughter Aria Roscente to be a troublemaker, and it is unclear whether he was aware or involved in the murder of Carin. Along with that he did not treat either his wife nor step-daughter with any true love, constantly turning on them when it suited him.

In the actual timeline, he becomes impressed with Aria’s economic and financial prowess, but is still willing to treat her dispensably. He only sought her help when he felt it necessary or when he saw it as an opportunity to gain more wealth or power. When his daughter, Mielle Roscente, decided that he is useless for the intentions of the Aristocratic faction, she decides to intentionally kill him in an apparent accident in order to blame Aria. Although the plan fails and he survives, he sustains severe injuries and becomes paralyzed. As he is unable to completed his duties as count, Cain succeeds him as the new head of house Roscente. Once it comes to light that Cain actions will have a negative impact on the house, his wife plots to seize the remaining assets of house Roscente for herself by requesting a divorce to "protect" their assets. The now ex-count survives the political purge, but requires financial assistance from his son and daughter for medical expenses. He commits suicide upon hearing that his daughter, despite being granted an extreme amount leniency from the purge, attempted to murder Aria and accidentally murdered Cain.
