Jessie is a supporting character in the series The Villainess Turns the Hourglass and the personal maid of Aria Roscente.

Jessie was the first maid of the House Roscente to be assigned to Aria, becoming her maid soon after her adoption into the Roscente family, and the only one not to be an informant for Mielle Roscente. In the original line of events, Jessie remained on Aria’s side until the very end, warning her master of committing acts the other maids encouraged her to do. While this was not appreciated by the original Aria, who did not like being opposed and was used to hearing the sweet words of her other maids, the Aria of the revised timeline grows quite fond of Jessie for this reason, feeling deeply sorry for mistreating her (among other things, cutting off her tongue and burning her right hand) and planning to repay her generously for her loyalty.
Unlike Annie, Aria’s other personal maid, Jessie is quite modest and principled, leading Aria to avoid showing her twisted side in front of her. She is, however, still fiercely loyal to Aria, happily assisting her master throughout the series. Over time, she grows quite close to Hans, a newspaper salesman Aria is acquainted with due to her past as a commoner. Wanting to raise Jessie’s status, Aria goes on to support Hans, appointing him the head of her department as the Crown Princess and even planning to make him a nobleman. Their marriage is the final event of the series.
